Taking part in the Deepavali celebration to felicitate female drivers on behalf of 'Makkal Sevai Maiam', the BJP TN Secretary honoured the female drivers and motivated them to work hard.
"These days, women are excelling in many jobs equal to men. Earlier, only men were dominating in fields like driving. To the contrary, these days with the participation of women drivers, the scenario has changed", she opined.
The central government's insurance plans, personal vehicle purchase schemes, and guidance for forming of female drivers' Association were outlined during the event.
Later, Deepavali gift hampers were presented to all women drivers.
