The Deputy Director of Statistics Department, Isakkiyappan, National Statistics Agency Senior Officer, Stalin, Statistics Officer, Hemalatha, District Co-ordinator of Common Service Centre, Balamurugan and other officials were present.
The Central Government plans to conduct a survey on informal industries such as roadside and residential businesses, as well as on-going businesses in informal enterprises. Surveyors and supervisors have been appointed for this audit. They will visit all houses and businesses to gather information about existing businesses. Since 1977, there have been six such surveys. The economic survey is currently being held for the seventh time.
The survey began in Tamil Nadu on October 9 and in Coimbatore from today. The surveyors who visit homes and businesses for this survey will collect information such as name, age, social class, gender, occupation, credit, capital, number, card number, source of investment, number and email address.
