The demo on using CRA NSL website for creating a username, password and maintaining of pension schemes, ePRAN accounts for the Indian Civil services officers was held today. Principal Secretary and Commissioner of Treasuries and Accounts Tenkasi. S Jawahar said that the CPS fund has been implemented for government officials from 01.04.2003 by calculating their basic salary, contribution from the employee's salary, contribution by the government and interest.

Until September 30, 2019, around 5.48 lakhs pensioners have joined this scheme and their details are being maintained at the Government Data Centre which operates under the Treasury Department. Moreover, the details from 2003-2004 to 2018-2019 are published in the notification section of www.cps.tn.gov.in/public and wwwcps.tn.gov.in/lb_cps/public.

Details of 14,827 employees who were terminated, retired and died while on duty are also recorded in the Government Data Centre. And, Rs. 707.66 crores have been sanctioned according to the CPS Final Authorisation, as per September 30, 2019.

The Principal Secretary of Treasuries and Accounts also added that cash handling officer is deemed to return the details within 10 days and the IFHRMS scheme to be implemented by 2019 will be received on the same day and acknowledged on the same day.

The Government has signed an agreement to PFRDA, as the financial office and NSDL will be maintaining the data for IAS, IPS and IFS officers who have joined duty after January 2014. NSDL has transferred Rs.18.36 crores for the 188 All India Civil Services officers as government contribution.
