The owl that had reportedly fell inside a rain water drain was unable to fly due to minor injuries. Seeing the helpless bird, local residents have informed K. Syed from Osai who informed foresters
Two Anti-Poaching Watchers Karthick and Kumar were sent in for rescue and they safely rescued the bird and took it to the Madukkarai Forest Range Office.
The owl was later released at Mattathukkadu after being treated.
