The action from the Collector comes after media highlighted the plight of the district administration building which is spear heading the dengue awareness campaign in the city.
The sight of dead rats with maggots and an unused water tank partially opened breeding innumerable mosquito larvae raised the eyebrows of the public who criticised the district administration and the CCMC to keep their premises clean and an set an example for the people to follow.
