Tirupur: District Collector, Vijaya Karthikeyan inaugurated the Food Festival in Tirupur which was organised by the Food Safety Department.
The Food Festival was held today at the AVP Trust Public School (CBSE) on Avinashi Road.
Food Safety officials briefed the students on how to protect themselves from the contaminants in food items used daily. Traditional cuisines brought by school students from their homes were also on display.
The students were awarded certificates for participating in the Food Festival.
