The Nilgiris: The Municipal Commissioner, Saravanababu presented trunk boxes for ensuring the safe keeping of the belongings of children in a boarding school, in Valparai municipality.
The Nilgiris: The Municipal Commissioner, Saravanababu presented trunk boxes for ensuring the safe keeping of the belongings of children in a boarding school, in Valparai municipality.
The boarding school houses students belonging to Gadar, Muthuvar, Pulaiyar and Irular communities in Valparai, Coimbatore and is being run by a private service centre with Government assistance. The school is home to 120 Adivasi settlement students from the Valparai area.
They are provided with free food, shelter and education. Students, teachers and officials participated in the program where the trunk boxes were distributed to the students.
