Owing to incessant monsoon rains for the past three days, over 20 landslides have been reported in the Nilgiris on Tuesday.
Vehicles including bikes and cars were buried after a compound wall collapsed in the Boys company in Aruvankadu.
Similarly, more than five houses in the Wellington Singarathoppu area were flooded and the residents were left stranded.
The officials from the district administration are inspecting the affected areas and providing alternate arrangements to accommodate the residents.
