In a meeting held today at Coimbatore Corporation, Commissioner J.Sravan kumar discussed various measures to be adopted by the Corporation to spread awareness about Dengue and prevention of the disease.
In a meeting held today at Coimbatore Corporation, Commissioner J.Sravan kumar discussed various measures to be adopted by the Corporation to spread awareness about Dengue and prevention of the disease.
Sravan Kumar instructed the field level officials to pace up Dengue prevention measures. Domestic breeding checkers ( DBCs) and sanitary workers were asked to conduct door to door inspection and spray ABATE medicines. Residents are requested to co operate with corporation workers in control and prevention of the disease. CCMC has also plans to conduct medical camps through out the city to prevent Dengue and create awareness about the disease.
CCMC also has plans to distribute notices to residents that contain awareness statements like " Destroy ATS mosquitoes, prevent Dengue " . Notices will be stuck at the walls to enable sanitary workers to register information and to work tirelessly to prevent Dengue.
Deputy Commissioner Prasanna Ramasamy, City Health officer Santhosh Kumar, Zonal sanitary officers and sanitary inspectors participated in the meeting.
