They immediately informed the Kattabettu forest officials. But the bears reportedly entered the thick bushes before the forest officials could arrive.
Since the bears have been frequently straying into estates, of late, the public have requested forest officials to chase them back into the forests or capture and then release them in the Mudumalai forests before there could be any human casualty.
