Tirupur : A burglary was attempted at the State Bank of India in Palladam.

Tirupur : A burglary was attempted at the State Bank of India in Palladam.



After completing their work on Saturday, bank officials of the State Bank of India operating at K Kallapalayam in Tirupur district had locked up the bank and left for the day. When the bank employees reported for work at 10 am this morning after the Ayudha Pooja holidays



They were shocked to find that the ATM had been moved from its customary place. It was found that the bank's window wires had been cut and burglars seemed to have attempted to break into bank.



The bank employees immediately informed the Kamanayakan Palayam police about the attempted burglary. Police officers reached the spot with fingerprint experts and are investigating if any money or jewellery had been stolen.
