Coimbatore: The Singanallur police nabbed a thief on Monday for being involved in over 10 cases of theft in Coimbatore.
Coimbatore: The Singanallur police nabbed a thief on Monday for being involved in over 10 cases of theft in Coimbatore.
Sorna Ganesh, a resident of Singanallur was travelling around Singanallur area when a man threatened him at knifepoint and demanded Rs. 500 from him. Following this incident, Sorna Ganesh complained to the Singanallur police station. Based on his complaint, a team led by Police Inspector Muneeshwaran comprising of Sub Inspectors Arjun, Kasi Pandi and others were ont he look out for the miscreant.
Last evening, police officials nabbed Bala Murali (26) who was hiding in the same area and seized the knife. Following this, a case was registered on him, and he was produced at Court and later put behind bars. It is to be noted that Bala Murali had already been booked under an attempt to murder case, robbery, ganja case in a total of 10 other cases.
