Coimbatore : Two entrepreneurs and tiger enthusiasts from the city who went on an epic 28,000 km trip from Kerala to Cannes covering 25 countries in 70 days to spread the message on tiger conservation, successfully culminated their trip here in Coimbatore, today.
Coimbatore : Two entrepreneurs and tiger enthusiasts from the city who went on an epic 28,000 km trip from Kerala to Cannes covering 25 countries in 70 days to spread the message on tiger conservation, successfully culminated their trip here in Coimbatore, today.
Commemorating the World Tiger Day on July 19, the Wild Tiger Foundation collaborating with CMS College, Chinnavedampatti here had organized this aspiring road trip to spread awareness on Tiger conservation and raise funds.

Wildlife enthusiasts, Gautom Menon, Founder and Chief Brand Officer of Wild Tiger Rum and Wild Tiger Foundation and Brand Creative Head, Paul George were the duo to take up this challenging 'Roar' trip who braved through harsh weather conditions in a SUV.
Speaking about the journey and the purpose, Gautom Menon said, "We travelled around 25 countries from Myanmar to Kyrgyztan to Cannes. We had to wade through conservationists in Myanmar, land slides in North India and were left at no man's land at Kyrgyztan-China border. The warm and amazing reception from people motivated us to accomplish our mission."
"Though, initially we planned for only 25,000 kms, we actually covered 28,000 kms. Through the journey, the scintillating and mind boggling landscapes like Kyrgyztan was a bliss. We were able to raise $10000 for the mission of tiger conservation, but mostly it the trip was focussed on creating awareness among the masses", added Gautom.
Gautom also apprised that the corporates who have heard of their mission and their journey have assured to work with them on creating awareness and better outreach.
