On September 28, Datchayani, a class 4 student of Kendriya Vidyalaya has allegedly been brutally attacked by three boys, who are her fellow class mates during a scout class.
Gokulraj (35) from New Siddhapudur here, who is the father of the injured girl has alleged that his daughter has been diagnosed with a fractured bones close to her eye and has been undergoing treatment at a private hospital on Avinashi road.
He further alleged during a press meet here that when he took up the issue to the school principal, they did not assure of any action instead tried to pacify me. They told that they would discuss the issue after my daughter's treatment.
"With so much hope, we send our wards to good schools. The school is totally responsible for the safety of the children. During such unforeseen incidents, the school stood take up responsibility and initiate steps to avoid such incidents in the future. The School Management's immediate response and action is the reassurance for the parents to send the kids back to school", lamented Gokulraj.
As the school did not respond well, he filed a complaint at the Peelamedu police station, today. Meanwhile, the heartrending video of the child crying aloud in pain and their parents consoling the child has been widely circulated in social media.
