Coimbatore: The Minister for Municipal Administration, Rural Development and Implementation of Special Programme, SP Velumani inaugurated a park and children's play area for public use today. The facilities were built at a budget of Rs. 99 lakhs in Kurinji Garden in Ward 85, Coimbatore South Zone.

The park was built under the Smart City project. Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner and Special Officer, Sravan Kumar Jatavath, MLA Amman K Arjunan and MLA PRG Arun Kumar were also present.
