The Nilgiris : A special camp was held by the Coonoor Vasan Eye Care in the Nilgiris area for the families of the Police Department. With SP Kalaiselvan stressing on the importance of keeping bodies healthy by having regular check-ups with regard to blood pressure, eyes and blood sugar, Vasan Eye Care conducted a free medical camp for police officers and their families.

They were also given eye glasses after the camp which was spearheaded by Shyam K Sudhakar, General Manager, Vasan Eye Care. The Deputy Superintendent of Police, Kumar, presided over the event. Ophthalmologist Amaravathi checked the police officers and their families with modern equipment and advised them regarding eye care.
Manager Nawaz had made arrangements for the event. Inspector K Jeyakumar, Amma Thurai and Traffic Police Inspector, Murali, were also present.
