Coimbatore: Raghupathy (47) from Ganapathy, Coimbatore was arrested and produced in the court today in connection with providing fake passports to Sri Lankan refugees.
Coimbatore: Raghupathy (47) from Ganapathy, Coimbatore was arrested and produced in the court today in connection with providing fake passports to Sri Lankan refugees.
It is alleged that he had given six fake passports and that two people have already travelled abroad with those fake passports.
Following the arrest, sleuths from the Q branch conducted inquiries with him and produced him in court today.
District criminal court Justice Gnanasambantham ordered to keep Raghupathy in court custody until October 17.
