"The Tamil Nadu State government should open a braille press to provide quality books for school and college students for free. To develop the braille system, the Tamil Nadu Government should set-up an expert committee", he opined.
He also added that the State government should help to set up stores for the visually-impaired in commercial areas.
Alleging that the State government has not implemented the differently-abled act of 2016, he stressed that steps should be taken for implementing them at the earliest.
Mr. Santhoshkumar Rungta requested the public to make their contribution for constructing a home for visually impaired senior citizens in Arisippalayam here. He also requested financial assistance from Government of Tamil Nadu for constructing the home.
