A discussion meeting for the executives of AMMK in Coimbatore district was held on Sunday in Kaniyur, near Somanur. The meeting was chaired by the General Secretary of the party, TTV Dinakaran. As per reports, before taking part in the meeting, Dinakaran had visited the home of former MLA Challenger Durai on Kalappatti road. Meanwhile, a large number of party cadres gathered at the Challenger Durai's house to catch a glimpse of TTV Dinakaran. The party cadres reportedly drove vehicles haphazardly causing traffic congestion and inconvenience to the public. Following this, the Peelamedu police have filed a case against the 60 AMMK party cadres under two sections.
