Coimbatore: Residents in Valparai demanded immediate action against those responsible for turning the college auditorium into a cow barn. They demanded that the auditorium should continue to be a place useful for students.
Coimbatore: Residents in Valparai demanded immediate action against those responsible for turning the college auditorium into a cow barn. They demanded that the auditorium should continue to be a place useful for students.
Over 1000 students pursue graduation courses in the Government College of Arts and Science in Valparai. An auditorium costing Rs.25 lakhs had been constructed to host events in the college premises. But recently, the college auditorium was turned into a cow barn. Previously, when the college was affiliated to Bharathiar University, various were held oin the auditorium frequently. At present, with no events being held, cattle owners took advantage of the space and began utilising it for their own purposes.
Residents in the area have requested the college administration to take appropriate action immediately to ensure students of the college continue to use the auditorium.
