He lauded the owners of the private company and social workers for providing the surveillance cameras.
The city police are continuing the work of installing the so-called 'third eye Surveillance Cameras' to curb traffic violations, murder, robbery, racketing, smuggling, drug trafficking and other illegal activities for the speedy arrest of criminals. The installation of these surveillance cameras is being carried out based on the orders of Police Commissioner Sumit Sharan and under the guidance of the Deputy Commissioners of Police, Balaji Saravanan and Perumal.
The surveillance cameras have been set up in R S Puram, Peelamedu police limits, Sai Baba temple police limits, Kattur police limits, Podanur police limits and Singanallur police limits. Meanwhile, 100 surveillance cameras have been set up at the Saravanampatti police border where crime is currently on the rise.
The surveillance cameras are connected to various parts of the Saravanampatti police limits, including Perumal Kovil Street, Sriram Nagar, Radha Ladies Hostel, Shiva Temple, Coimbatore Sathi Road.

The Deputy Commissioners of Police, Balaji Saravanan, Perumal and Selvakumar, and the Assistant Commissioner of Intelligence, Ramesh Krishnan were present at the event. The Sub Inspector of Police, Selvaraj who was actively involved in setting up surveillance cameras at the Saravanampatti police border was also commended.
