The Nilgiris: Heavy incessant rains in Ooty, Coonoor and nearby areas of the Nilgiris District has affected the daily life of locals in the district. 



The Nilgiris district received a rainfall of 526.1 mm until this morning. Maximum rainfall of 107 mm was recorded in Kundah. Ooty, Coonoor, Kotagiri and nearby areas, while Barliyar, Katary, Selas, Aruvankadu, Boys Company, Kattabettu, Ora Solai, Donton and other nearby areas have also been experiencing incessant heavy rains.
