Coimbatore : In a bid to create awareness on growing man-animal conflict, the Valparai forest department had organised an awareness program in Nedukundram settlement, within the Valparai forest reserve on protecting oneself from wild animals and their importance.

The awareness program was aimed on oneself should protect from wild animal attacks and also the importance of wildlife and biodiversity. As part of the session, the officials also enquired with the tribals on their needs and promised to fulfill them.
Forest Officers Rajan, Sabareeswaran and other forest guards, anti-poaching guards were also present.
