According to sources, the calf with electrocution marks was found dead near Kalhothi a tribal village in Siruvani.
However, there are no reports on the age and sex of the calf.

The forest officials are investigating to find out if the farm owner had got approval for erecting solar fence.
Shortly, an autopsy will be carried out, say sources from forest dept.
