The calf had estranged from the herd from the Kaanakkundhur area and was roaming in a patta land near Murugar Karadu when it was spotted by foresters.
They rescued the calf and guided it three kms upto the pambu kuthi maduvu, where it’s herd was roaming and reunited it successfully with them.
