The Nilgiris : Alleged Maoist leader, 28-year old Danish alias Krishnan was produced before the District judge at the Ooty Court by the Kerala Police from Thrissur in connection with a case registered against him and seven others for allegedly trying to recruit members of a tribal community and for putting up posters in Nedugal Combai in August 2016.

Danish was produced before the Ooty Court today amidst heavy security. He raised several anti-national slogans as well as against the Isha Yoga Centre. His controversial slogans created a flutter in the Court complex. Judge Vadamalai ordered for his trial to be postponed to October 25. With several cases registered against him in Kerala, the police took him back to Kerala amidst tight security.
