The police are on the lookout for Sathish Kumar, Managing Partner of the firm who supposedly has been involved in promising people of getting US Visa for money.
Coimbatore: Following the complaint by Sean Brennan, Assistant Regional Security Officer of the US Consulate General, Chennai, with the Kattoor (crime) police on a private passport firm for presenting forged documents for Visa, the police have arrested the Nivesh (27) of the fradulent company.
The police are on the lookout for Sathish Kumar, Managing Partner of the firm who supposedly has been involved in promising people of getting US Visa for money.
The Albatross, a passport and visa consultancy company located at New Siddhapudur in the city, had forged documents to obtain US visa for two people named Kalaivani (35) and Sathish Kumar (31). The company has forged documents to strengthen the applicant’s credibility and qualification to obtain a visa.
During the personal interview at two different circumstances, the consulate officials found that the supoorting documents produced along with the Visa application are untrue. When confronted, both the applicants had pointed fingers at the private agency 'The Albatross' and confessed that the agency had prepared the documents and they had no clue about the details.
Both have paid upto Rs. 25,000 to the company for creating such forged documents including letters from employer, business invitation letter from client in US and others.
With the arrest of Nivesh of Albatross, more details of their fradulent practices would be exposed, say police sources.
