SFI and Govt. Arts College students demonstrate against exam fee hike

Coimbatore : Students of Government Arts College and Members of Student Federation of India (SFI) have jointly protested against the exam fee hike by boycotting the classes.

Coimbatore : Students of Government Arts College and Members of Student Federation of India (SFI) have jointly protested against the exam fee hike by boycotting the classes.



They demanded the reduction in the exam fee that has been increased earlier by Bharathiar University.

“It is affecting the prospects of students hailing from poorer families” the students said.



They also urged the management to improve the infrastructure of the college and to provide free napkins to the students.



“The protests will continue if the demands are not met by the authorities“the SFI wing students said.
