Coimbatore: Aiming to enhance the English proficiency of students at an international level, SSVM School in Mettupalayam has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Cambridge, a 600-year old University in London, UK.
Coimbatore: Aiming to enhance the English proficiency of students at an international level, SSVM School in Mettupalayam has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Cambridge, a 600-year old University in London, UK.
The contract was signed by Arunachalam, the University's South Asia Regional Director and Manimegalai Mohandas, the Managing Director of SSVM School. The agreement aims to further enhance the existing English Scholarship and improve the knowledge of students on par with international standards.
Addressing the media, Arunachalam said, "Under this agreement, not only this school but students, teachers and college students all over the Coimbatore region can enrol in this program and improve their English proficiency. Thereby, they can acquire a job in foreign lands in this simple way. As a first step, teachers will be trained by professors from London and then impart to everyone from LKG to college students.
SSVM School Secretary Mohandas, the Principal and students took part in the event.
