Coimbatore: Enraged by Actor Vijay's new movie 'Bigil' posters which shows him placing his foot down on a knife, irate fish and meat traders in the city ripped the posters in protest, at the District Collectorate today.
Coimbatore: Enraged by Actor Vijay's new movie 'Bigil' posters which shows him placing his foot down on a knife, irate fish and meat traders in the city ripped the posters in protest, at the District Collectorate today.
"Placing a foot on the knife is hurting our sentiments and when we complained, the production company AGS replied to our legal notice in a complacent manner," alleged the traders.
Commenting on the recent audio launch of 'Bigil,' the protesters said, "Actor Vijay does not have any right to advise the Tamil Nadu Government. The scenes that are insulting to meat traders must be removed or a severe law and order issue will arise."
The protesters stated that they have submitted a petition to the Chief Minister and District Collector regarding their stand on the posters and certian scenes in the movie 'Bigil.'
