Acting on tip-off hat the sale of ganja in the Singanallur Ondipudur area is going on a team led by Singanallur Inspector Manneeswaran, Sub Inspector Kasi Pandian and Head Constable Sukumar was on the lookout for the peddler.
Police cornered the Sethu selling Ganja near Ondipudur Bridge and acting in a suspicious manner following which he was arrested.
The sale of ganja and other banned substances have been on the rise in the city.
