Coimbatore: The arrested auto driver who alleged to have 'conspired against the Tamilnadu Government' has been released by the Police for want of any solid evidence against him.
Coimbatore: The arrested auto driver who alleged to have 'conspired against the Tamilnadu Government' has been released by the Police for want of any solid evidence against him.
The police arrested the person from near Senni Andavar Temple Bridge near Karumathampatti. The police who were patrolling in the area had questioned him and taken him under custody as his reply was incoherent.
Later Police claimed that the arrested Boopalan (31) had planned to conspire to topple the Tamil Nadu government. He was arrested under Section 7(1) (a) of the Criminal procedure code.
However, when the arrested was produced before Judge Vediappan the judge refused to remand him as there is no solid ground for prosecution. Later the police took him to the police station and released him after levying conditions.
