Addressing students of Government Arts College and Kanagaraj Free IAS Coaching Centre at the City Commissioner Office, Sumit Sharan said that "Civil Services examinations require constant knowledge updates of current affairs."
He added that it was important to read news papers and watch news on television to keep updated.
“The exams are held at three levels including preliminary, written test and personal interview. Students should prepare for all these at the same time,” he noted.
He further added that the syllabus was vast and included politics, economics, culture, sports and environment. He also encouraged them to inculcate reading habits and take good care of their physical and spiritual health.
