Coimbatore : In a shocking incident, a man who purchased medicine from a medical store at Karumbukadai found iron scraps in the medicine to his dismay.
Mustafa (24) a resident of Karumbukadai is a car accessories dealer. He was suffering from a toothache and has gone to Selvam Medicals, a medical store operating in the same area to get medicine.
When he opened the medicine to consume, he was shocked to find iron scraps in the medicine he had just purchased. Mustafa immediately took the medicine to the shop where he had purchased and questioned the pharmacist present there.
Mustafa later told the media persons that he would bring this to the notice of the Health Department officials and consumer activists.
“Such recklessness could turn fatal to life. The concerned pharmaceutical company should be penalized for manufacturing such inferior products", Mustafa said.
