Addressing a press conference on Wednesday, 18 September, she announced that the Union Cabinet has approved the ban of e-cigarettes.
What many have questioned is why tobacco products like cigarettes have not been banned if the government is concerned about the health of its citizens. This move is strange without banning the cigarettes and other tobacco products but going after the much newer and lesser dangerous tobacco product like e-cigarette raises more questions than it answers.
