The Nilgiris : With the onset of the second-season in Ooty, District Collector Innocent Divya inaugurated the 2.5 lakhs flowering plants which are placed for spectacular display at the Botanical gardens in Ooty.
The Nilgiris : With the onset of the second-season in Ooty, District Collector Innocent Divya inaugurated the 2.5 lakhs flowering plants which are placed for spectacular display at the Botanical gardens in Ooty.
To delight the arriving tourists lakhs of flowering plants have been exhibited in the Botanical garden in Ooty.

District Collector Innocent Divya said, "For all the tourists who missed the flower show in the first season during April and May can now enjoy them in the second season beginning today."

Over 85 varieties of flowers including dahlia, salvia, Inca Marie, French marigold, begonia, calendula and aster are kept for display.

Over 15,000 potted plants are also tastefully arranged in the garden. In addition to this 2.5 lakhs of flowering plants are beautifully arranged to delight the tourists.

“The lush green lawns and the vibrant flowers are surely a vision to behold” say the visiting tourists.
