His followers and students gave him a celebratory welcome through music and dance. Following this, he attended the felicitation ceremony arranged by the Industrial associations at CODISSIA.
Isha Foundation had in July formally launched its “Cauvery Calling” campaign aimed at covering 28 districts in the river basin in neighbouring Tamilnadu and Karnataka to create awareness about agro forestry model.

Isha Yoga Centre Founder, Jaggi Vasudev embarked on a motor cycle rally to create awareness to save cauvery river which was kick started at Thala Cauvery on September 2. The rally culminated in Chennai on September 17.

Minister SP Velumani, MLAs, several business tycoons and top industrialists participated in the felicitation event.

The awareness campaign "Cauvery Calling" was aimed at reviving the Cauvery river on September 3. Jaggi Vasudev drive down in a two-wheeler from the Thala Cauvery in Karnataka by crossing 28 districts and covering 3500 kilometers to spread awareness about reviving the river.

Several politicians, businessmen, actors have registered their support for this cause.
