The officials raided a cottage industry in RVE layout in Tirupur and found that they had been mixing Dalda and Palm oil during preparation of ghee.
The officials sealed seven such cottage industries in the area for producing adulterated ghee and seized about 500 litres of adulterated ghee.
An investigation has been commenced.
