Coimbatore: Condemning the State Government's announcement that Board Exams will be conducted for Classes 5 and 8, the cadres of the Students' Federation of India (SFI) staged a protest in front of the Government Arts College, Coimbatore.
Coimbatore: Condemning the State Government's announcement that Board Exams will be conducted for Classes 5 and 8, the cadres of the Students' Federation of India (SFI) staged a protest in front of the Government Arts College, Coimbatore.
Various organisations too are protesting to show their displeasure at the State Government's announcement. "It is not acceptable to conduct Board Exams for children aged 10 and this will only lead to an increase in students discontinuing their education," opined the SFI cadres. They added that protests will continue until the decision is withdrawn by the Government.
