Coimbatore: Based on the complaint lodged by a woman to locate her husband and her two daughters who went missing after an outing, the D-1 Ramanathapuram police station filed a missing complaint and were on the lookout for them. The police on Saturday found the missing trio at Chennai and brought them to Coimbatore.

The police on Saturday found the missing trio at Chennai and brought them to Coimbatore.
Initial investigation confirms that the husband had left with his daughters in an ongoing altercation between him and his wife. However, the wife had claimed in her complaint that she was clueless about their disappearance.
Ashwin Terry Sam (37) and Christy Rosario are residents of Srinath Lake View apartments on the Sungam Bypass Road. According to the FIR, "On August 10, Ashwin Terry Sam and his two daughters Shasha Laydisa (9) and Sarah Laydisa (4) had informed Christy of going to Brookefields Mall here and left home. However, the trio had not returned home, thereafter. Following this, Christy registered a complaint at the office of the Commissioner of Police in Coimbatore."
Based on the orders from City Police Commissioner, Sumit Sharan, the Ramanathapuram police registered a missing case and actively searched for the missing trio.
The police searched in various places including Hyderabad and following a tip-off that the trio are in Chennai, the police immediately launched a search and found all the three missing persons.
The trio were brought to the Ramanathapuram police station and investigations are on. The Police said that as a missing complaint has been registered, the trio will be produced in the Court before any further action can be taken.
