The 111th Birth anniversary of Arignar Anna, the leader of the Dravidian Movement was celebrated with enthusiasm in Mettupalayam by the ADMK party men.
The party cadre led by AIADMK District secretary Vanamati Seth, took out a procession from Ooty Road to Six Corner where the statue is located and garlanded the statue with a specially-made 10ft garland and distributed sweets.
A large number of party executives and volunteers, including MP AK Selvaraj, MLA OK Chinnaraj, Amma Peravai Secretary Nassar were also present.
