Coimbatore: The illicit lovers Madasamy and Tamilarasi belonging to Ganapathiyar Puram, near Rajapalayam in Virudhunagar district, have been found hanging in their quarters at Samyapuram near Mettupalayam.

The illicit lovers though married with children carried on with their love affair and when the family members came to know of their affair, the duo had fled the village and was engaged as labourers in private spinning mill in Samayapuram near Mettupalayam.
The couple had joined in the spinning mill as a worker only a few days back and the Management had arranged quarters for them to stay on the premises.
Since they fail to turn up for work the management staff went to check their room, where they found the bodies of Madasamy band Tamilarasi who hanged themselves using a saree.
The Mettupalayam police who arrived at the scene recovered the body and sent it for postmortem to the Mettupalayam GH.
A case has been registered and further investigations are on.
