Coimbatore: Under the pressure of the National Minorities Commission, regarding the death of Palanisamy, the Martin Group of Companies, ADSP Anitha is presently investigating the income tax officials for information relating to the mysterious death.
Coimbatore: Under the pressure of the National Minorities Commission, regarding the death of Palanisamy, the Cashier Martin Group of Companies, ADSP Anitha is presently investigating the income tax officials for information relating to the mysterious death.
Cashier Palanisamy (45) from Thudiyalur who had been working with the Martin Group of Companies for the last 25 years was found dead in a water body near Velliyangadu on May 3. The mysterious death of Palanisamy raised several questions as it had been preceded by an income raid and investigation by the Income tax officials at the Martin Group of Companies.
As per the Court order, a post-mortem was performed and under the recommendation of the National Minorities Commission, the case is being investigated by ADSP Anitha for the past two months.
As a part of the investigation, ADSP Anitha questioned Palanisamy's family members, colleagues, the Trustees of the Martin Group of Companies and Income Tax officials. An hour was spent investigating the two income tax officials about the death of Palanisamy. Income tax officials have reportedly responded to all her queries and have been asked to submit their responses in a written form.
