Palaniswami expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Tamil diaspora, who welcomed him in England, Dubai and America and the party cadres and Ministers who had received him in the Chennai and Coimbatore Airport respectively.

Palaniswami expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Tamil diaspora, who welcomed him in England, Dubai and America and the party cadres and Ministers who had received him in the Chennai and Coimbatore Airport respectively.
When questioned on the DMK leader Stalin's stand that a white paper on investments attracted during the visit should be tabled, CM shot back by saying on how many times during the DMK regime a white paper has been released.
Questioning the investments which were made during the DMK regime, the CM maintained that Stalin only dished out false information to the general public.
Comparing the investments in various projects during the two regimes, the CM said that the investments made during the DMK regime was Rs. 26,000 crores but under Amma’s rule Rs 2.42 lakh crores of investments were made in Tamilnadu out which 29 industries and 67 businesses have been established for 53,000 crores.
Observing that the investors need time to establish their businesses after signing the MOU, he said that the land has to be acquired first. Large companies need a time frame of 5 years to get funds and bank loans.
Slamming Stalin for criticizing the AIADMK regime since he had taken over as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, the CM said that 41 MOUs had been signed in the overseas tour which will benefit 35520 people in acquiring jobs and added that this was done in a short period.
Citing the case of Chandra Babu Naidu, who was the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, who also visited the US in his regime to attract investments, the CM said foreign entrepreneurs want every Chief Minister to go abroad to attract investment.
Edappadi Palanisamy said that “when I went to invest overseas, the entrepreneurs from those countries were very appreciative of this act and loved to spend time with us. He also noted that many investors had come forward to invest in Tamil Nadu in the coming years”.
Edapadi Palanisamy further said that Tamil Nadu Government is not expecting the appreciation of Stalin and added that it would be appreciable if Stalin does not criticize the AIADMK regime.
The Chief Minister added that various projects are planned and they would be implemented in temples in and around Coimbatore and in other districts.
Slamming Stalin for finding fault for not implementing water conservation and dam project in Cauvery he said the Government is implementing Aadhanur Kumaramangalam barrage in the Cauvery River.
The CM noted that works are underway to construct check dams across Cauvery at a total outlay of Rs.600 crores.
Stating that the slowing of the economy has not affected Tamilnadu, Palaniswami said that there are right conditions to start industries and there will be employment for millions in Tamil Nadu.
The CM noted that he had visited the Animal farms in the foreign countries and a cow gives 70 litres of milk there and so that he has contemplated the establishment of that 900-acre cattle park in Salem, where hybrid cows would be bred and given to the farmers to improve their revenue.
Chief Edappadi Palanisamy noted that the chief secretary and officials of the Salem district would visit the area today and commence the work for the establishment of such a park.
