Upper Bhavani Dam reaches full capacity

The Nilgiris : As the Upper Bhavani reservoir in the catchment area of the Nilgiris district has reached its full capacity of 266 feet, around 500 cubic feet of water is being released from the dam.

Hence, as a matter of precaution, the Nilgiris district administration has advised people living along the Pillur and Athikadavu river banks to be alert and stay safe.
