Coimbatore: Following the sudden disappearance of her two daughters and husband who had gone to the city's Brookefields Mall, the distraught wife lodged a complaint with the police who have launched an extensive search for the missing trio based on the complaint.

Ashwin Terry Sam (37) and Christy Rosario are residents of Srinath Lake View apartments on the Sungam Bypass road. According to the FIR, "On August 10, Ashwin Terry Sam and his two daughters Shasha Laydisa (9) and Sarah Laydisa (4) had informed Christy of going to Brookefields Mall here and left home. However, the trio had not returned home, thereafter. Following this, Christy registered a complaint at the office of the Commissioner of Police in Coimbatore."
Based on the orders from City Police Commissioner, Sumit Sharan, the Ramanathapuram police have registered a missing case and are actively searching for the missing trio.
The Police Department has also requested the public with information on the missing children to call the Ramanathapuram police station's Inspector Lata on 94981 74156 or the landline number 0422-2320628, 9498101147.
Though the Ramanathapuram police are currently investigating the case, many wild rumours regarding the case has been already circulating on WhatsApp.
