Delivering the inaugural address at SIMA Texpin 2019 (13th CEO Conference) held at The Residency Towers this morning, Ranganathan talked about various strategies to manage the current economic down turn and be future ready.
The CEO conference held today focussed on the theme "Facing the future" in which industrial experts talked on different pressing topics.
Speaking at the event, Ranganathan stated, “In the coming years, digital transformation will play an inevitable role in business. Look for the leading edge as change is imminent. Industries have to stay abreast of the scenarios, or else they would get outdated.'
Sharing his experiences, Kavincare Chairman opined “Businesses should be analysed from four angles - strategy, structure, people and process. As far as strategical options are concerned, value addition, creating a brand image and increasing efficiency are very important. E-commerce and artificial Intelligence are the game changers which will impact the future markets to a large extent."
Speaking on structure, Ranganathan explained “There is no ideal structure in businesses. Businesses have to be flexible and should not hesitate to put the employ the right kind of people.”
Ranagnathan also stressed the need for investing in oneself. “Successful CEOs reflect, think and upgarde themselves. Most of us spend 97 per cent of the time doing habitual things, which will not let us think beyond the ordinary."
SIMA President, P. Nataraj delivered the welcome address. Around ten companies from Coimbatore region received 'Techno Facts' awards for their acheivements, despite a economic down turn.
