Coimbatore : Krishnan Kutty, Minister for Water Resources, Government of Kerala who took part in Onam celebrations organised at Sulur had said that a meeting would be held on September 26 between the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and his Kerala counterpart to resolve the outstanding water sharing issues of both states.
Coimbatore : Krishnan Kutty, Minister for Water Resources, Government of Kerala who took part in Onam celebrations organised at Sulur had said that a meeting would be held on September 26 between the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and his Kerala counterpart to resolve the outstanding water sharing issues of both states.
Onam celebrations were held at a private marriage hall in Sulur and Tamil Nadu Deputy Speaker Pollachi V. Jayaraman and Krishnan Kutty were the special guests of the occasion.

Speaking at the function, Deputy Speaker Pollachi V. Jayaraman demanded that the Kerala Government should help the people of Tamil Nadu to get adequate share of waters as Tamil Nadu has been helping the neighbouring state in all things without a second thought.
Speaking on occasion, Krishnan Kutty, Minister for Water Resources said that the people of Tamil Nadu are not discriminated against by the people of Kerala and there are more than 30% of Keralites living in Tamil Nadu, and all amenities they need will be provided without any discrimination.
