After a detailed analysis of their current needs, the Association distributed relief materials like steel boxes for safe keeping of their belongings, milk powder and clothes for 60 tribal families in Thorapalli, Mollapalli, Nilakottai, Kundhaladi and Kadamakolli.
The Social Work and Psychology students participated in field work and counselled the tribals, creating awareness and boosting their morale. KCT KARE members Murali, Ranjith, Kumaraguru Liberal Arts and Science College Associate Professors S Duraimurugan, K Sunil Jogi, Postgraduate Social Work students Rufus, Divakar, Kamalesh, First-year Psychology student Dhruvan, Math Department student Nishanth, Political Science student Vasanth, KCT students Sridhar, Harish and Subhash participated in the relief material distribution across the affected region.
