Coimbatore : Speaking at the book launch of 'Vaazhvum Paniyum' written by the former Union Minister and DMK's top-level Committee Member, M Kannappan, DMK Chief M K Stalin expressed confidence that DMK would win in 200 constituencies in the upcoming legislative elections and that no one will be able to shake off the DMK regime for the next 25 years.

"Like how Lord Krishna played 'Charioteer' in mythology, M Kannapan was Kalaignar Karunanidhi's 'Charioteer.' He was the Minister of the Hindu Religious Endowment Board when DMK brought in laws that mantras will be chanted in Tamil language in the temples and people belonging to any caste can be priests," stated M K Stalin.

"DMK is filled with martyrs and I am proud to be the leader of such a party. The ADMK are planning to destroy the Tamil language and its ethnicity but the DMK will continue to be a movement that will fight for the Tamil language and be the voice for the rights of Tamil Nadu," reiterated the DMK Chief.

M K Stalin mocked the Tamil Nadu Cabinet as a "tourist cabinet" where Ministers look forward to visiting overseas as much as possible, before the end of their regime. He also stated that the white paper should be published on the investments made at the two World Investors Conferences and that it is untrue to say that Rs.2 crores will be invested. "I will be happy if the Rs.2 crore investment is sanctioned and will hold a felicitating event in honour of the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Eddapadi K Palaniswami," he added.

M K Stalin opined that some people were making fun of the DMK party for winning elections with a lesser margin of votes in Vellore. "Even if it was a one vote difference, it is a victory. The AIADMK regime won only 1.1 percent of the votes in the last Assembly election and this rule would not last if the Ministers who won by more than a two-thousand vote margin resigned. The DMK regime could not have functioned properly even if we had won all the by-election seats. I hope that DMK will win in the 200 constituencies in the upcoming legislative elections and that no one will be able to shake off our regime for the next 25 years," declared a confident M K Stalin.

Parliament members T R Balu, A Raja and others also took part in the book launch event.
